Overview: Fresh, bold and well balanced with a very typical Douro Valley profile. Think fruits like strawberries and raspberries, spices and a touch of dark chocolate notes. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and then 25% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 6 months - giving the wine just a touch of tannin and backbone.
Wine Region: Douro Valley
Varietals: Touriga Franca 45%, Touriga Nacional 42%, Tinta Roriz 13%
Pairings: This is a perfect BBQ wine - not too light, not too heavy - truly medium bodied and really a crowd pleaser!
