Herdade Aldeia de Cima is located amongst cork trees in Portugal’s southern Alentejo region, one of the most magical, sustainable and historically complex wine regions in the country.  The region’s winemaking legacy dates back to its time as part of the Roman Empire when wine was made in clay vats, or Talhas.

Tasting notes - A balanced, mineral wine with notes of candied citrus and orange blossom

Varietals - Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho

Winemaking: 6 months in a mix of concrete and used French oak vats

Pairings - Fish dishes, especially pairing well with salmon, lighter pasta dishes and pork dishes.
