Quinta Nova De Nossa Senhora Do Carmo

A SLICE OF HEAVEN IN THE DOURO

Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora Do Carmo is as quintessential Douro Valley as it gets. Quinta Nova is owned by the Portuguese Amorim family, a pioneering family in another one of Portugal's prized industries - cork! Spanning over 300 acres of rugged terraced slopes the estate is comprised of vineyards, olive groves a fruit orchard, with a historic mill and stream running though it all.

The estate house and hotel sits perched right above the Douro River and the original wine cellar on the property dates back to 1764. Today Quinta Nova offers a restaurant, wine tasting and a plethora of experiences like harvesting grapes and drinking their incredible wine and Port on a riverboat ride. All of this and more await you at Quinta Nova.
