Quinta Nova Grainha Reserva Red 2018 (Douro)
Overview: This is a more sophisticated and rich, but very well-balanced expression of Douro's fuller-bodied wines and warrants a sturdy meal or assortment of cheeses! Made from a complex blend of hand-harvested native Douro varietals and aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels.
Varietals: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional
Tasting notes: The dark ruby robe of this wine speak to its deep, complex and seductive, yet elegant aromas that combine ripe plums and blackberries with wet, schist rock and Douro's iconic cistus flower nuances. It's mouthfeel is voluminous and balanced, with some tannic grip.
Enjoy with: Coffee- or cacao-rubbed steak or potent, creamy cheese.
Alcohol: 14.3%
