Quinta do Tedo DOC Reserva 2018
Overview: Estate-grown Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Cão and Tinta Roriz are the dominant grapes in Quinta do Tedo's Douro DOC Red Wines. To ensure more fruit and less acidity, the Quinta harvests the grapes for the DOC Red Wines before the grapes harvested for the Ports.
Grape varietals: Touriga Nacional (60%), Touriga Franca (30%) and Tinta Cão (10%).
Enjoy with: Gamey meats, stews, steaks, cheeses.
Tasting notes: Deep, firm texture and a robust structure; strong back-bone; well balanced by acidity and the moderated alcohol level; ripe and explosive fruity tannins; a long and persistent mineral finish with good precision.
