Overview: Crusted Port is a unique style which results from the blending of young Ports with Ports similar to Vintage Ports. A blend of two vintages and bottled in 2016, this style of wine is bottled unfiltered, which allows it to age further. It is a sweet style, full of raisins and prunes, with a generous, ripe texture. The wine can be drunk now but will certainly age for at least 10 more years.
Varietals: 28% Touriga Franca, 23% Tinta Roriz, 20% Touriga Nacional, 19% Tinta Barroca, 10% other field blend.
Tasting notes: Full boded, rich and elegant. Black and red fruits, with clean tannins.
