Quinta Nova Red, White & Port Pack

Quinta Nova's award-winning winemaking team produces some of the most premium examples of Portuguese wines that have helped highlight Douro as a world-class, classic wine region worth visiting and tasting.  

This four pack includes two red wines, one white wine and one LBV Port:

• 2019 Quinta Nova Grainha Red: A more sophisticated and rich, but very well-balanced expression of Douro's fuller-bodied wines and warrants a sturdy meal or assortment of cheeses! Made from a complex blend of hand-harvested native Douro varietals and aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels. The dark ruby robe of this wine speak to its deep, complex and seductive, yet elegant aromas that combine ripe plums and blackberries with wet, schist rock and Douro's iconic cistus flower nuances. It's mouthfeel is voluminous and balanced, with some tannic grip. Varietals: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional.

• 2019 Quinta Nova Reserva Terroir Blend: Douro's native grape varietals are hand-harvested and perfectly blended into a classic Douro style that's a serious, pure and beautiful expression of this classic region, and a crowd-pleaser.   Of an intense ruby or almost purple color, this wine reminds us of Douro's dark schist rock soils, which express on the nose alongside seductive and succulent lilac, iris and violet flowers, some nutmeg, clove and black pepper spice and ripe, wild black fruits. It is lively, yet soft on the mouth, showcasing wild berries and black cherry amidst fresh, wet leaves and stones.  Varietals: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Touriga Franca

• 2019 Quinta Nova Grainha White: A seductive white wine made from a blend of high-elevation hand-harvest grapes and aged for 7 months in oak with battonage to enhance the richness and texture of this iconic example of Douro's complex, balanced and fresh white wines.   This wine showcases aromas of quince, bitter almond and butter cookies alongside some baking spice nuances. In the mouth evokes a delicate tango between rich texture and elegant honeyed citrus and stone fruit flavors, perked up by fresh acidity. Varietals: Gouveio, Viosinho, Rabigato, Fernão Pires.

• Quinta Nova 2014 LBV Port: Similar to a Vintage Port, this LBV Port showcases the concentrated and unique expression of a single, great harvest. However, it is pre-aged in oak vats at the winery to refine its structure and complexity for you to enjoy immediately (although, being unfiltered, it can age in your cellar for 10+ years).  Of a dark ruby color and juicy, fresh blueberry and blackberry aromas with a touch of chocolate, this singe-harvest Port tastes succulent and soft with notable density and great balance between sweetness and alcohol that holds for a long time after each sip. Varietals: Old vines composed of 30+ native grape varieties.
